Only 1440 bottles have been made of this wine and is a one-off wine. "Grown in our estate owned vineyard in the heart of Coonawarra and handcrafted to combine bold blackberry fruits with the spice and earthiness that for which the region is renowned. It is medium bodied in structure, yet has concentration and power that hallmarks and expresses the variety" - Luke Tocaciu, Winemaker.

'This Cabernet was grown in our estate owned vineyard in the heart of Coonawarra and handcrafted to combine bold blackberry fruits with the spice and earthiness that for which the region is renowned. It is medium bodied in structure, yet has concentration and power that hallmarks and expresses the variety. Smooth integrated tannin and a hint of vanilla chocolate oak round out the mouthfeel and linger on the long finish. Best matched to a sharp cheese or hearty steak.
This Coonawarra Cabernet has spent time maturing in both French and American oak. The small amount of American oak adds vanilla and chocolate to further enhance the structure and spice that Coonawarra is renowned for. The cool climate of Coonawarra creates unique wines that is known worldwide for their hint of mint spice and impeccable structure. I grew up in Coonawarra and Cabernet is my favourite and most challangeing variety to work with. When I get it right, the results are second to none.' - Luke Tocaciu, Winemaker and Owner.

Based on the mild summer, and consequently long ripening period, we have made elegant Shiraz and strong Cabernet. Pleasingly, we are seeing bright fruit, varietal definition and intense colour at moderate sugar. 2015 is a strong tannin vintage which at this early stage, will translate into wines that have excellent cellaring potential.
