Our Patrick of Coonawarra range is focused on premium, single variety wines from our estate grown vineyards. Our flagship wines include the impressive 'Grande Reserve' Cabernet Sauvignon, 'Home Block' Cabernet Sauvignon and Aged Riesling. These wines show the true essence of Coonawarra and are a testament to the superior fruit and winemaking skill that Patrick of Coonawarra has.
The Estate range is currently comprised of the varieties; Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. Patrick of Coonawarra has an exceptional reputation for producing Riesling, securing several trophies, gold medals and exceptional reviews in recent years.

Bold, complex notes of dark chocolate and concentrated fruit lead to a wonderfully rich, structured palate with impeccable length. The 2010 vintage saw the rare weather event of wetter conditions followed by dry, humid days. These were perfect conditions for the Botrytis Cinera fungus to grow on the Riesling grapes. The resultant concentrated berries have been masterfully transformed into this luscious, complex dessert wine. Aromas of apricot marmalade & orange peel fill the glass. The palate is rich and viscous with honeyed fruits perfectly balanced with the citrus finish.View Tasting Note

// NEW VINTAGE RELEASE //Hints of dark chocolate and vanilla aromas greet you in the glass. This develops into dark berry fruits and concentrated plum fruits. The palate is full and luscious with good palate weight and a nice dusting of oak. The smooth but present tannin completes this wine with power and prestige. Fresh & fruity in its youth, now developing bottle age the wine displays unique characteristics & distinguished flavours that only age & maturity can provide. This Riesling has been cellared for 5 years before release & shows intense aromas of lemon butter & a distinctive toasty character. // NEW VINTAGE RELEASE // Matured in predominantly American oak for 18 months, the aroma is full of blackcurrant with a lift of vanilla. The palate is seamless with hints spice leading to the fresh, soft finish and balanced perfectly with the rich fruit flavours. // NEW VINTAGE RELEASE // This wine was matured in a combination of new American & second use French oak for 24 months. This give the wine structure, complexity and a lift of chocolate oak flavour. The balance is complemented with the rich mulberry fruit & touch of white pepper spice. The finish is smooth and lingering, and best matched to any lamb dish. Cellaring will soften and complex further over the next 5-10 years.View Tasting Note
This Riesling is a blend of our two vineyards in Coonawarra and Wrattonbully. The Coonawarra component adds citrus acidity and lime flavour and the Wrattonbully adds a floral lift. The aroma is intense, showing lime blossom and citrus freshness. The palate is vibrant with good balanced and crisp and clean acidity.View Tasting Note
The cooler, maritime climate of Mount Gambier allows for an extended growing season, which produces the delicate & complex flavours found in this Pinot. It was picked, destemmed and cold soaked for 7 days prior to fermentation, allowing vibrant strawberry and cherry flavours to be enhanced. The palate is rich and smooth, with cherry and red fruit leading to cinnamon spice and a hint of candied strawberry.View Tasting Note
This Sauvignon Blanc was fermented and matured on lees in French oak puncheons, giving it the texture and complexity for which the Fumé Blanc style is renowned. A hint of oak with delicate tropical fruit aromas lead to the creamy palate and lengthy finish.View Tasting Note
This is a small parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon made exclusively in honour of North Adelaide Football Club's Grand Final win in 2018's SANFL. Only 1440 bottles have been made of this wine and is a one-off wine. "Grown in our estate owned vineyard in the heart of Coonawarra and handcrafted to combine bold blackberry fruits with the spice and earthiness that for which the region is renowned.
