Our winemaking philosophy is to produce contemporary style wines with elegance and balance, showing the true regionality of our area and personality of our winemaker.
Our white wines have a particular elegance and class about them, with special attention payed to our Rieslings. Lean, mineral and citrus acidity and purity of fruit is a testiment to minimal winemaking influence and a pure expression of the vineyard.
Our wines display typical varietal characteristics of a cool climate region and are made using traditional winemaking techniques such as extended contact on skins, gentle maceration, slow fermentation and minimal fining. Our full bodied red wines are matured in superior quality, tightly grained French and American oak barrels, often for between 18 and 40 months. Extended cellar maturation and delayed release ensures wines with a wonderful structure and smooth, fine tannin finish. Our premium Cabernets in particular are ready to drink and enjoy today, but will benefit from further cellaring and careful decanting before serving.
